tucked off the highway as you enter Turangi. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Room is what we expected, very clean and tidy, comfy beds Mosquito netting across the windows is a good idea to avoid being visited by the biting bugs while you sleep

Cheap and clean.

Room was very small. Thin walls so that you could hear every noise from neighbouring rooms. Toilet/bathroom sliding door wouldn¿t close properly due to hitting end of bed.

Good value on the room, enjoyed the location.

Friendly staff. No probs storing our bicycles inside in a safe place.

Of all the hundreds of Motels. and hotels which I have stayed in: in NZ and Overseas this venue does not meet the requirements of a motel: with no kitchen or TV in the hired room..One has to use a communal kitchen and and communal recreation room if one wants to see TV: similar to a NZ motor campA very small bedroom the bathroom was extremely small and quite unsatisfactoryThese details are not stated on the Booking com web site for the hotel: WHY??

Host was super nice and helpful, parking spot under the room is good.

Room is extremely small, we couldn't open two suitcase at the same time on the floor. Bathroom is basic, few more hanging spots or shelves would have been appreciated. Ah, and the bathroom door is not a door, it's sliding one a rail on the top, can't be completely closed, privacy is a dream which can't become true in this room :(

Knowing we were coming the heater could have turned on as room was cold

We stopped for a night on our long drive south to move house, so we really appreciated how helpful the owners/staff were to (a) stay open a little late since we were running late to check in, and then (b) help direct us to park our furniture truck overnight on the side of the driveway. They went out of their way to assist us and it was much appreciated.

Short drive to Turangi city center. Kitchen was well stocked with stoves and utensils. Each room has it own set of dishes and silverware. Large parking lot.

Room has only one lamp. Too dim to read. No bed side power socket.

Basic, food down corner table and just enough space for a 2-person luggage. Narrow bath room. Can’t eat or drink in the room but have a good size kitchen with all the cooking and dining amenities. Overall good, nothing too bad but size wise it’s one of the smaller places I have stayed in NZ

It's quiet and comfortable. There're enough facilities in the shared kithen and laundry.

It was cosy, warm and clean

A warm and cozy room in winter. Easy check in and check out process. Warm kitchen and lounge area. The mini compo radio in the lounge brings back the 80/90s memories.

Nothing major. Just a wee suggestion, it would be good if the pool cue in the lounge had a perfect tip for a good pool game.

cold, minimal room heating no electric blanket not enough bed covers no tv in room apart from that all good

Liked the ease of booking last minute and it was ok to stay there for one night.

I'm a bit older now so not much into sharing facilities but it was cosy and warm with everything you need if you're a young person traveling around.
